If you feel you need help, don’t hesitate. You may not always be right. The cause of your stress may be completely groundless. It may also be physical. Someone else may be able to solve it easily. Know your limitations, and that can alleviate stress to a great extent.

Stress is a normal part of life. In small amounts, stress is good – it can motivate you and help you be more productive. But too much stress or a violent reaction to stress is detrimental.

It can lead to a general decline in health, as well as certain physical or mental illnesses, such as infections, heart disease, or depression. Prolonged and unforgiving stress often leads to anxiety and unhealthy behaviors such as binge eating and alcohol or drug abuse.

Just as the reasons for stress differ from person to person, what relieves stress isn’t the same for everyone.
