How to Manage Stress

Stress management isn’t as hard as it may seem. However, we cannot stress this next point enough. If you feel that you’ve too much stress in your life, it might be helpful to talk to your doctor, your spiritual advisor, or a local mental health facility. Since reacting to stress can be a factor in depression, anxiety, and other disorders, they may suggest that you see a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, or other qualified counselor.

Stress is a normal part of life. In small amounts, stress is good – it can motivate you and help you be more productive. However, too much stress or a strong reaction to stress is harmful.

It can lead to overall poor health and certain physical or mental illnesses, such as infections, heart disease, or depression.

If you feel stressed or have a panic attack, calm down, take a breath, and know that there are many, many people who know exactly how you feel.
